Make JSON easier to read
JSON is a common format for API responses, configuration, and data exchange. A single long line is hard to inspect. Format JSON adds indentation so nested objects and arrays are easier to follow. Minify JSON removes optional whitespace for a smaller text payload.

Validation has limits
Valid JSON only means the text follows JSON syntax. It does not confirm that an API expects the same field names, value types, or business rules. Compare the result with the schema or documentation for the system receiving it.
Handle data carefully
Remove secrets before sharing formatted output in a ticket or chat. API keys and personal data can remain inside perfectly valid JSON. This formatter processes text in the page, but the safest habit is to review what you copy and where you paste it.
