Fix capitalization without retyping
Case conversion is useful when text arrives in all caps, a heading needs consistent formatting, or data has mixed capitalization. Paste the text, choose a style, and copy the result back into your document or spreadsheet.
UPPERCASE suits short labels and codes. Lowercase can normalize tags or machine-readable values. Title Case capitalizes each word, while Sentence case capitalizes after a sentence break. For names, brand terms, acronyms, and formal titles, review the result manually: automatic capitalization cannot know every style rule.
Keep the original meaning
Changing case does not correct spelling or grammar. It also cannot decide whether “US” means a country or the pronoun “us.” When processing a long passage, keep an original copy until you have checked proper nouns, technical terms, and acronyms.
A practical workflow
Clean up the source text first, select the case closest to your target style, then scan the result before using Copy text. This is especially helpful for imported catalog entries, form responses, and headings pasted from several sources.
